Office 2007 styling with NetAdvantage

Published: 31 January 2007

The most recognisable new features of Office 2007 have now been added to Infragistics’ NetAdvantage for .NET 2006 Volume 3. Developers can create and style applications with the exact look and feel of Office 2007, using the new Infragistics Ribbon, Scheduling, Galleries and Styles.

Infragistics’ Application Styling for Windows Forms makes it easy to apply the Office 2007 user interface, including the Ribbon, with selective importing, resource previews, Eyedropper color selection, a resource used-by list, and more.

The WinFormattedLinkLabel now includes a new image and horizontal rule tag, span tag and style attribute. Additionally, the Infragistics Charting engine, WinChart matches the new chart styles provided in Office 2007 with new 3-D Spline charts plus an updated range of presets and chart backgrounds.

Infragistics’ AJAX-enabled, “Atlas”-ready ASP.NET controls are now also easily styled with the Office 2007 UI, including WebCalendar, WebChart, and WebGrid. Developers can use built-in AJAX behaviours alongside “Atlas” ones, and can employ the partial rendering capabilities of the WebAsnycRefreshPanel (WARP Panel). With WebChart, developers can now hide and display chart series, and apply the new Office 2007-style presets.
